Happy Holidays !!!

Our Holiday Festival

Third Graders were so excited to join the whole school for a holiday celebration to wrap up 2022. Students explored our backyard with family and friends to learn all about holidays celebrated around the world, from Christmas, to Hanukkah, to Las Posada, to Kwanzaa, and even Winter Solstice! We loved getting the opportunity to share the excitement of this day with our eager learners. Happy Holidays to all of our TCS families!

Winter Choir Concert

On Wednesday the Cooper School community gathered behind the Charlestowne Methodist Church to perform a musical selection of well known songs for parents and families. It was a beautiful concert and we are grateful to Mr.Alton for all his hard work in choir. First through Fourth grade worked super hard and sounded amazing. We thank you all for coming !

Social Studies

This week in Social Studies, we have learned all about the roles and responsibilities of government! We learned about the levels of government and understanding the responsibilities of the local, state, and federal governments. Then, we dove into the roles of the branches of government at the federal level, learning about Supreme Court Justices, Congressmen and Congresswomen, Senators, and the President, Vice President, and Cabinet.
