Community Change Makers Presentation

Third Graders spent the week wrapping up their Community Change Makers unit. Students polished their writing, art, timeline boards, and public speaking in anticipation of their final presentation. We are so excited to show you today how much change even the smallest voices can make.

Math

Students have worked diligently in our third unit in Math. As we wrap it up, students have spent the week finishing up and preparing for our third assessment. Students have been challenged and excited to learn different methods of long addition and subtraction and continue to build on their math skills.

Gratitude

Third Graders spent a large amount of time this week discussing gratitude and different ways to show it. Students created lists of both the large and small things in their lives that they are thankful for. Using these lists, Third Graders selected things from their lists to write about in our Gratitude Book for the upcoming Harvest Feast!

• December 11th – Winter Choir Performance at Circular Church (1:30pm)
• December 21st – PJ Day (11:30am Dismissal)

• January 4th – School Resumes
