Look at our little researchers! This week Second Graders had the opportunity to pick an Arctic animal that interested them, and dive into some research with their computers and books. This is such a wonderful way to integrate various subjects and make connections between various content areas. 

Math

Second Graders had a blast playing Roll to 100 with their math partners. The goal? Seeing who can get to 100 first by rolling a dice and using our multibase math blocks! 

Social Studies/Science

While students have read, and listened to lessons about the Arctic, incorporating all of their senses helps them adapt a more meaningful understanding of the subject matter. Ask your child what the soil feels like in the Polar Biomes!
