Centers

4th graders have been practicing their fine-motor skills by making lanyards as one of their centers for the past couple of weeks. They learned this fun activity as a class and now they can’t stop working on their keychains during snack and dismissal too!

Math

4th grade finished unit 5 last week and had their End of Unit Assessment on Tuesday. This unit challenged them with division, measurements, and conversions but we are so proud of how focused they’ve been and we knew it would pay off! Now time for 4th grade to master multiplying and dividing multi-digit numbers!

Poetry

In preparation for Pass It On, this Wednesday marked day one of our poetry unit for reading and writing. Students will be reading the book Heartbeat by Sharon Creech and practicing their own narrative poems in accordance with the book. This is all in preparation for Pass It On, which will be Thursday, May 4th.
