Almost There!

ERB Prep

Last week, we started preparing for end of-the-year standardized testing. Fourth graders reviewed different types of passages and how they’re organized.  We also practiced different strategies to use when reading for information.  ERB testing will take place during the first week of May.

Fourth graders have been studying their poetry muse for several weeks now, researching their entire lives and collections. They each have a poem written by their muse that they will memorize and recite for their project presentation and are currently working on compiling all their notes into a PowerPoint presentation! We can’t wait to see all of their hard work at the presentation soon.

On Wednesday, 4th grade had their Spring Choir Concert. They performed the most songs out of all the grades including 500 Miles, Comedy Tonight, and What a Wonderful World. They even had 2 silly skits about a piranha and a parachute! They have been working on these performance pieces since January and it was clear to see all their hard work has paid off. We have some amazing singers in 4th grade!
