Fifth grade has had such a beautiful week back at school. I am so thrilled to begin the year with your curious scholars. This year the students have a lot to look forward to, including the field trip to Green River Preserve, the mystery reading unit, the Science Fair, and our volleyball study trips.
Fun in 5th Grade
This week we focused on rekindling our friendships and practicing our routines to set us up for a successful year. One of our favorite activities was the Marshmallow Challenge. In this activity, teams worked in groups of four to build the tallest tower out of spaghetti noodles that could hold a marshmallow. We had some giggles and fun working together!
