Math:
This week, the 7th graders CRUSHED the ERB! They’ve worked super hard this year and I’m so proud of how they’ve grown. Next week, we’ll play some fun math games and complete mini projects in between our trip to Top Golf and planning for Field Day.
ELA:
This week, 7th grade was in ERB testing with me. They worked so hard towards their testing goals!
Next week, 7th graders will take part in a mini “Modern Poetry” unit where we will study genre-bending poets and spread our poetry through the school in out-of-the-box ways!
Social Studies:
Seventh graders have been testing all week with ERB. I am proud that even with them so busy they have been working hard on their research papers. They are due Wednesday the 20th. Also with me gone with the 8th grade to Washington D.C., and not enough time to prepare, I have cancelled the final exam since we did not have enough time together at the end of the year.
Science:
The seventh graders prepared for their last science test of the year this week! They executed their last lab, and compared the solubility of three different substances using funnels and filter paper. The seventh graders are definitely prepared for eighth grade science! It is hard to believe that they are going to be the oldest kids in the school next year!
