Author Study Presentation
Our first graders were thrilled to present their author study on Tuesday! They worked incredibly hard on this project, and their effort truly shone during the presentation. The students learned so much about their chosen authors and were excited to share their own author-inspired books with everyone. Once again, we are so proud of all their hard work!
SSR Reading
This week, our scholars have been working on sustained silent reading. We’ve challenged ourselves to reach a goal of 30 minutes by the end of next week. So far, we’ve already mastered 10 minutes! We know our strong first graders are going to ace this challenge—we just love reading so much!
Centers
First graders were so excited to have centers this week! We were able to make insect art using stamps. We played with our center bags. Scholars were able to get creative and build things with building cubes and blocks. Ask your scholar all about centers this week !
