Choir Concert
Thank you to everyone who attended our Lower School holiday choir concert. It was a sweet and memorable event! The second graders were amazing and brave singers, and it was wonderful to hear them sing and harmonise with the third graders. Having listened to them practice beforehand, it was especially rewarding to see how all of their hard work came together on stage. The concert truly reflected the dedication and effort of the students, as well as the behind-the-scenes preparation and guidance provided by Mr Andy, making the performance a special experience for everyone.
Reading with Kindergarten
This week, second-grade students read with kindergarten, creating a special opportunity for them to showcase everything they had been learning in reading. Over the past few weeks, second graders prepared by selecting a book that was just right for them—one they believed kindergarten students would enjoy and that allowed them to practice their new reading skills. During the reading time, second graders read aloud with beautiful fluency, hilarious character voices, and a tone of voice that perfectly matched their stories. They demonstrated strong expression, clear pacing, and growing confidence as readers, while also showing thoughtfulness and patience as reading buddies. It was wonderful to see their hard work, responsibility, and love of reading shine as they shared stories with their kindergarten friends.

We wish you all a safe and happy holiday! We are beyond thankful for all of you. We love our amazing second-grade class and truly believe we have the most wonderful group of students. We love teaching every day and have our second-grade class to thank for that. We wish you all a very happy holiday season and an exciting new year!
