It was heartwarming to see so many smiles as they reflected on the special things that make our classroom community so strong. We also had a fantastic time enjoying the delicious treats from our bake sale ,it was the perfect sweet ending to a wonderful day!
Crafts in the Artic
Scholars have been working incredibly hard on their Arctic crafts as we prepare for our upcoming presentation. This week, we began building igloos using sugar cubes, and first graders absolutely loved the process! They showed great creativity in their designs and handled each step with impressive care and focus. We also continued using our research tools to discover even more fascinating facts about our Arctic animals. Our scholars have been so dedicated and studious throughout this project, and we cannot wait to showcase all of their amazing work!

Black History Month
This week in Whole School Morning Meeting our class spent time learning about Black History Month and why it is so important. We talked about the achievements, courage, and contributions of Black leaders. Students learned how these individuals stood up for what was right and inspired change for future generations. It was a meaningful discussion that encouraged our scholars to appreciate diversity, show respect for others, and understand the importance of history.
