Spirit Week
Scholars were so excited to express themselves each day during Spirit Week! Throughout the week, scholars had so much fun wearing their pajamas, favorite fandom gear, tacky outfits, crazy socks, and even dressing in their cluster colors. It was such a joyful week filled with laughter, creativity, and school spirit. We loved seeing scholars share the things they love with their classmates and our school community!

Field Trip
On Wednesday, our first graders took an exciting field trip to the beautiful Magnolia Park and Community Gardens. Scholars were thrilled to explore the gardens and discover all the different fruits, vegetables, and plants growing around them. They even had the opportunity to taste-test peppers, eggplants, blueberries, and more!During our visit, scholars also created beautiful nature sunprints using items they found outdoors. First graders learned all about pollinators and why they are so important to plants and gardens. One of the highlights of the trip was playing a fun interactive game where scholars got to pretend they were pollinators. Ask your scholar to tell you about their favorite part of our exciting field trip!

Field Day
First grade scholars had an amazing time celebrating on our last day of school! Our school theme this year was “Decades,” and scholars were thrilled to head outside and participate in all of the exciting games and activities our middle school students planned for everyone. First graders especially loved enjoying delicious snow cones from Pelican’s and winning fun prizes at the different game stations. It was such a joyful and memorable way to end a wonderful school year together. We hope our scholars have a fantastic summer break, and we can’t wait to see them again next school year!
