Move-Up Day
Friday was Move-Up Day for our 4th graders, which means they got to move into middle school and see what it will be like to be a 5th grader! They went through each subject, changing classrooms, and even got to experience school clubs such as Chess, Spirit, Community Service, and Media Arts! We hope this sneak peek got them excited for their big jump into middle school next year!
Writing
Students have begun reflecting on the year so far, including their progress and the challenges they’ve incurred. They started with math, looking back at their past tests and thinking about their favorite units to learn about. They will do this with each subject in preparation for Self-Assessment conference in March.
Centers
4th grade has exciting centers, getting them ready for Valentine’s Day! They have a silly heart craft to hone their fine motor skills. They are also decorating each other’s Compliment Book covers as a special surprise. Then, they had a math facts game of War to work on their fluency!
