Pass It On
The Cooper School was so excited to come together again for our wonderful Pass It On event! Our brave poets dressed in their finest attire, gathered their confidence, and shared their beautiful poems with a large and supportive audience. Students loved hearing their friends and siblings proudly present the hard work they put into their writing. We are incredibly proud of all the creativity, courage, and effort that The Cooper School poets poured into their poetry pieces!
Author Study
This week, our first graders have been working very hard to put the finishing touches on their book covers. Scholars designed and painted their very own reimagined book covers inspired by a book written by their chosen author. First graders have also been researching final information about their authors and learning so many exciting facts along the way. We can’t wait to share everything we have learned during our presentation next week!
Clusters
This week was our last Cooper Cluster of the year! Scholars were ecstatic to play games and enjoy pizza with students from all grade levels one last time before school lets out. We will truly miss all of the new friends we made in our clusters this year.First graders are already asking what cluster they will be in next school year!
