Goodbye Cooper Village!
We are sad to have completed Cooper Village, but we are so proud of the Second Graders for all their hard work! Students loved showing off their Cooper Village houses and businesses, their dream house layouts, what a natural disaster is, how to protect yourself, a day in the life of their job, and the fun add-ons to Cooper Village! Thank you again for all the recyclable materials donated and for coming to our presentation

Self-Assessment
Second graders are excited to share their hard work with you all next week (March 2nd & 3rd)! They have worked hard practicing their favorite math game, reading their “just right book”, and spell-checking their work. Students have worked hard to share with you where they have improved, what they need to work on, their most exciting accomplishment this year, and what was challenging for them. We are so proud of the second graders for digging deep and going above and beyond! We can’t wait to see you all at self-assessment!

Drama Week
Second graders were delighted to see our drama friends again from Charleston Stage! This week, students took their acting skills to the next level! Students practice their voice levels and understanding when to use them. They also pushed themselves to think outside the box and try new things through acting. Students read Dragons Love Tacos and worked together to act out scenes from the book. We are excited that Charleston Stage has invited us to see them perform Dragons Love Tacos next week!
