Biome Fashion Show
We are so proud of our Kindergarten super models for strutting their stuff on the runway! Students arrived at school in their biome best, dressed to visit the desert, polar, rainforest, or wetlands biome! We loved all of the support as families and their older peers cheered them on from the sidelines. Kindergarteners proudly showed off all of their hard work, from biome murals to their own weaving. WAY TO GO KINDER-MODELS!
Charlotte’s Web
Currently, our class is entrenched in the beautiful story of friendship, Charlotte’s Web by E.B. White. Students have loved getting to know each character and root for their favorites to succeed. Kindergarteners have been so excited about the story that some have been coming into our classroom in the morning asking questions about the upcoming chapter. We can’t wait to see what happens next!
Self-Assessment Practice
While preparing all week for our biome fashion show, students also have been gearing up for our self-assessment conferences next week. This week, students got the opportunity to walk through the centers they will be sharing with their families. We have been practicing our interviews and math games, and reading our published How-To books and cannot wait to share it with you all!
