Measurement!
This week in math, we dove into the world of measurement! We looked at different types of measurement -length, weight, and liquid volume and their units. The students had the chance to hold and compare a kilogram and a gram, giving them a real sense of weight differences. We played guessing games, like estimating how many liters it would take to fill a bathtub, and discussed real-life situations where measuring accurately is extremely important and why—whether it’s baking a cake, building a house, or ordering supplies!
Poet’s Eyes!
Our poetry unit is in full swing, and our class is seeing the world through their poet’s eyes! We are reading works from different authors and noticing the many ways poetry can take shape. Our young poets use everyday objects to uncover deeper meanings and how a single small moment can carry big emotions. The students are finding their own poetic voices, playing with rhythm, repetition, and rich descriptions to bring their words to life.

Our class has been exploring forces and motion! We’ve started experimenting with magnets, gravity, and how different forces push and pull objects in our world. The students are full of curiosity as they investigate how magnets attract and repel, how gravity pulls things toward Earth, and how forces can change an object’s movement. We’ll continue experimenting and making discoveries through hands-on activities in the coming weeks!
