As our Middle Schoolers begin heading out on their end of year field trips, I’m reminded of the sweet memories from my middle school field trips that I still hold near and dear to my heart. My 8th grade year, we flew from Indianapolis to Washington D.C. with the classmates we had grown up with, and got a taste of independence as we meandered the city without our parents. Although being in another city was so special and eye-opening – being with my favorite teachers and my closest friends are what ultimately made that trip so memorable. I’m just so STOKED for our kiddos to make the same long-lasting memories that I’m sure as adults, they’ll fondly reflect on just like we do!

Math:
5th Graders had a GREAT time this week at GRP! Next week, they’ll take the ERB.
ELA:
I can’t wait to hear about 5th grade’s experiences at GRP!
Next week, 5th will be deep in ERB testing. Best of luck! I’ll be off to chaperone 6th & 7th grade’s trip to Earthshine!
Social Studies:
Fifth grade will be picking back up with our study on the geographical importance of the United States and how we use it to our advantage for our economy and lifestyle. I hope everyone truly enjoyed their trip. Do not forget the research paper rough draft is due May 14th.
Science:
I had a great time at GRP with the fifth graders this week! Moving forward, they will continue to learn more about chemistry.
