Harvest Festival
Thank you all for coming out to celebrate the Harvest Feast! First Grade loved participating in all of the Thanksgiving fun with you. Our students shared so many things that they were thankful for and we loved seeing them with their family and friends!
Gratitude Books
This week first graders finished up their gratitude books. Each scholar narrowed it down to seven things they were grateful for. First graders also drew detailed pictures to go along with their sentences. We were so excited to hand these out at the Harvest Festival and so grateful for our kindergarteners for hand-painting our book covers!!!
Math
This week in math first graders have continued to work on adding and subtracting within 20. We learned another new math game called “Roll and Add” this week. Scholars had so much fun rolling the dice and creating their own equations using the number 10. We are knocking it out of the park with his math unit!
