Second Grade
We have begun second grade and we could not be more excited for this year ahead! Second grade has dove right into all the fun that we have in store. Students came in eager to learn and excited for all the new things that a new school year brings. Students have begun looking into our year and deciding what their hopes and dreams for the year will be. Second graders are “Catching Big Dreams” this year and we can’t wait to see them achieve all of their hopes and dreams. To begin this process students began brainstorming, an important process to help students organize their ideas. As a class, students discussed their highlights of last year, what they are looking forward to in second grade, and what they want to work on during second grade. We were blown away with the students’ maturity and respect they had for one another as they shared their thoughts and worked together as a class! We look forward to the best year!
