We were ecstatic to welcome our scholars back to The Cooper School! Third graders eagerly jumped right into the first days of school catching up with old friends and meeting new ones! Our students spent a good part of each day making discoveries about their new classroom and practicing classroom routines and procedures! We loved watching our friends ease right back in and further their independence in the classroom!
In the beginning of each year, classes prepare a special envelope to open at the end of the school year. For this momento, third grade students wrote a letter to their future self, drew and decorated a self-portrait and measured their exact height. When we open the envelopes in May and they will be able to see how far they have come and celebrate their growth!
