Fourth Grade!

Math

In math we started our unit on quadrilaterals. Students are currently studying two dimensional shapes such as heptagons, pentagons, trapezoids, and parallelograms. Fourth Grade students have also analyzed the angles that make up these shapes and how a square is formed using right angles while a triangle is formed from three acute angles.

Reading

This week in reading students finished their book reports. They filled out each sheet and colored it before they were pinned onto the class Reading Workshop wall. A couple of selected books include Treasure Island, Keeper of the Lost Cities, and Charmed: Fairy Tale Reform School.

ERB Testing

We are excited to announce that Fourth Grade is finished with ERB testing. They have worked so hard all week and completed two tests each day. Despite technical difficulties in the beginning, they have persevered and we are so proud of them!
