Fourth Graders Welcome New Pet!

Photos Below: Fourth Graders welcomed our new class pet, Mr. Wobbles to Fourth Grade. He is a fantastic addition to our class!

Mystery: In Reading and Writing Workshops this week, Fourth Graders are beginning a new unit on Mysteries! To begin our unit students began by documenting and classifying their fingerprints to help search for a missing book in the classroom. They also began reading a new book called “Who Stole the Wizard of Oz.” Scholars are looking forward to solving mysteries and writing their own mysteries!

Math

Fourth Grade scholars are wrapping up their end of module unit on long division and mutli-digit multiplication.  They are excited to move forward in learning all about fractions.  Students discussed everyday ways in which you might use fractions such as baking a recipe with measurements or slicing a pizza to share with friends.
