Grandparents Day

It was another successful Grandparents and Special Friends Day at TCS. To begin the morning, Scholars performed various songs with Mrs.Hazel. Students then welcomed grandparents and special friends into the classroom. Students shared a typical Morning Meeting with a fun greeting, activity, share and morning message. Next, students shared their favorite math games “Salute” and “Top-It”. Students also shared all the hard work they did for the Inuit presentation to their grandparents and special friends. 

Field Trip

On Tuesday Second Graders took a field trip to the Saint Andrews Parks and Playground Gymnasium and Annex. Scholars first started out by doing a group game of red light-green light. First graders joined us and scholars did an obstacle course, a bowling game, dribbling and some reading. We ended the trip with a fun game of freeze dance. Ask your scholar what was their favorite part of the trip!

Conferences
