Happy Halloween!

Halloween!

Can you believe it’s already Halloween?! It feels like we just had our first day of Fourth Grade yesterday! Students have been buzzing with excitement all week about coming to school in their costumes on Friday for our Halloween Carnival. Fourth Graders loved getting to see all of the fun costumes almost as much as they loved getting to play the games that 6th and 7th graders set up for the carnival!

Social Studies

This week in Social Studies, Fourth Graders spent time discovering new information about Ancient Greece and its culture. Students have been working to discover new information about Greek houses, transportation, food, celebrations, people, and clothing. We’ve learned so much new information this week and we really enjoyed creating illustrations of some of the new things we learned about!

Centers

During centers this week, Fourth Grade architects began constructing their own pyramids! Students were placed in groups to build a pyramid, and each group was given different materials for the job. The groups mapped out their own blueprints and then got to building. We are so excited to see the finished products!
