Happy Valentine’s Day!

Celebrating Valentine’s Day
Kindergarteners were thrilled to celebrate Valentine’s Day with classmates! We enjoyed Valentine’s Day math where students determined how many giant Hershey Kisses tall they were. Students enjoyed exercising their estimation skills by observing a jar of conversation hearts to guess how many were in the jar. Kindergarteners were thrilled to rotate through Valentine’s Day themed craft centers and we hope that you enjoy the treasures that they created!

Illustrating Compliments
This was a big week in our Kindergarten world! After working hard to craft thoughtful compliments for each of our classmates, Kindergarteners took on the big job of creating illustrations to match their words for each friend! Kindergarteners blew us away with their beautiful bucket-filling illustrations! We know that you will love reading these treasures!

Kindergarten Playdate
This week, we were so excited to invite Kindergarteners to stay after school one afternoon for a special classwide playdate. Some students brought a favorite toy to share with their classmates as we spent an hour just celebrating the special bonds that we have built in our classroom. We kicked off our celebration as students each received a pair of Lego glasses that they customized all on their own! Students spent the afternoon playing and catching up with friends!
