Hardworking Second Graders

Cooper Village

Second Graders are moving forward with the finishing touches of Cooper Village. In their natural disaster groups Second Graders have created a transportation for their assigned business as well as a logo. Independently, Second Graders have researched their profession and written a short essay explaining what role they play in the community and why their job is meaningful to them.

This week scholars have worked diligently to complete their self assessments. Scholars have reflected on their learning and all of the skills they have acquired this far in the school year through writing. In this writing Scholars express what they have found most enjoyable, challenging, and what they are still looking forward to. We can’t wait for you to see all of this hard work next week.

In yoga this week Second Graders read the book “What The Road Said” by Cleo Wade. Miss Courtney guided Second Graders through careful thought and reflection on what they believe it means to grow and bloom in their daily lives. Second Graders designed a blooming flower and included different ways they themselves would change and grow.
