Not a Mundane May

Not a Mundane May

Here at TCS Middle School, the month of May has definitely not been mundane. From ERBs to out of town trips, your Cooper Hawks have been on the move.

What’s Going On?

Last week, fifth graders returned from the great outdoors of the Green Rivers Preserve! They hiked, went spelunking, visited a waterfall, and slid down a rocky water slide. The sixth, seventh, and eighth graders’ week was not as adventurous. They survived their ERB testing.

This week the 5th, 6th, and 7th graders are: reviewing skills taught, finishing up projects, and preparing for Field Day. The eighth graders are having a wonderful time exploring our nation’s capital, Washington D.C.!

Parents, please encourage your kids to check around at home for the following: computer charging cords, library books, and any other items that should be returned to school. Secondly, encourage your child to clean out their lockers at school and to bring home any missing water bottles, lunch containers, sweaters, and/or jackets.

Important Dates:

  • May 29th – Memorial Day (No School)
  • June 1st – Half Day (11:30am Dismissal)
  • June 2nd – Field Day/Last Day of School (11:30am Dismissal)
