Pass It On

Proud Poets
This week, students were eager for the opportunity to shine by reading their Pass It On poems for an audience. Kindergarteners arrived donning their fanciest formal wear to proudly show off all of their new poetry skills. Leading up to this special day, students spent time practicing in partnerships, groups, and in front of the class to prepare for their big stage debut. These brave scholars have mastered projecting their voice and reading in front of an audience, which is pretty big work for a Kindergartener!

Solid Shapes
Students were so ready to begin exploring solid shapes this week. Kindergarteners could not wait to share all that they know about different solid shapes and what makes them unique. We were excited to hear all of the things students were familiar with in our world that are made of spheres, pyramids, cones, cubes, and cylinders!

Puppet Practice
Kindergarteners have brought their puppetry skills to life as we prepare for our upcoming How To Be A Kindergartener puppet show for the incoming Kindergarten class. Students have been rehearsing daily to memorize lines, master their blocking, use their best projection, while also entertaining their audience. We are so proud of all of the hard work and pride that they have put into their work.
