Persisting Through!

Science

This week, scientists have been investigating the different properties of water. We’ve been looking at all the different steps that happen in the water cycle. We started off with evaporation on Monday and on Thursday scientists investigated transpiration!

Writing

Our Third Grade writers have been working diligently to write their own fairy tale adaptations. Students were able to choose any fairy tale that they wanted and create their own adaptation of it. Currently, we’re working on typing up our first drafts of our fairy tales, but we’re looking forward to presenting our adaptations to the class soon!

SEL: Persistence

Recently we’ve moved into our last SEL Unit: Persistence. We’ve learned that persistence means to push through, even when the task may be difficult. We’re putting this into action as the school year closes out. Third Graders are doing a great job of persisting through our last few weeks of school!

Reminder: Please continue to send an extra face mask in your child’s bag!
