Rocking Third Graders !!!!

Math

This week in math scholars continued to learn more about multiplication. Third graders worked to write and solve equations with unknowns. Students used addition and subtraction equations to represent the unknown numbers. Mathematicians are loving all the different tools to solve multiplication problems!

Science

This week in science we wrapped up our water unit. Scholars learned so much about water and how it can be a solid, liquid or gas. Our Third Grade scientist enjoyed all of the fun water investigations we completed. We made our own water cycles, built mini umbrellas, and so much more! We can’t wait to move into social studies!!

Charleston Battery Soccer Players

On Wednesday the Charleston Battery soccer players came to The Cooper School to meet our students. Students were ecstatic to ask players questions about soccer and to even learn a few soccer tricks they use on the field. Scholars are so amped for the soccer game next week and for some students to even have the opportunity to walk out on the field with players!
