Choir!

This week Second Graders began choir at The Cooper School! Students were so excited to practice their singing and learn new songs this school year! Second grades began by warming up their voices to prepare for class! Students learned two new songs and got the chance to sing on their own to their fellow classmates! They are so excited to keep learning new songs and become their very best singing selves.

Hi-Tech! Hi-Touch!

Second graders were visited by Miss Liberty to explore all aspects of balance, force, and motion to wrap up their science unit! Students got the chance to have hands-on experiences with all types of forces, magnets, and balance! There were so many interactive and great learning tools to help further their learning! A favorite of the students was balancing birds on their noses!

Published Authors!

Second Graders have been working for weeks on their small moment narrative stories. All the hard work has paid off, now they are putting the final touches on their finished stories! Students received a printed copy of their story that they have begun illustrating with their own pictures! Students are so excited to share their published stories with the rest of the Second Graders!
