The Finish Line to Summer Break

There is a lot going on in Middle School this week! Sixth and Seventh graders are off at Disney! They are team building, navigating the park, and learning how to live in close quarters with friends. I am so excited to hear about their adventures and funny stories when we are all reunited next Tuesday!

Back at school, the Fifth Graders were busy taking the ERB’s all week. After their rigorous testing and fun brain breaks, they got busy planning and creating their booths for Field Day. It will definitely be OUT OF THIS WORLD, with the fun theme of space! There will be a space walk, scavenger hunt, rockstar knockout, and so much more! They have truly done a wonderful job with the big task of such a monumental tradition.

There are lots of things to look forward to next week:

All week is SPIRIT WEEK (see below for daily themes)
6th and 7th grade students will be heading to Francis Marion National Park on Tuesday for a hike around the forest lead by Ms. Lindsay’s biology professor
Field Day on Friday!

Overall, it is truly hard to believe this school year is almost over! It has been such a pleasure teaching your children. I look forward to hearing about your summer plans!

Cheers to another school year!
