Ornithologists Share

Second Grade ornithologists were thrilled to share their research with their Fourth Grade buddies. After working hard to type their research, add pictures, and play with the background, the slideshows were ready for an audience. Meeting outside and staying socially distant, Second Graders were able to share their hard work with a buddy. Slideshows were also sent home and shared with families! 

Field Day

Second Graders loved Field Day! They got to participate in a bunch of homemade games that the fifth and sixth graders made for them. Sticking with their cohort, they played crab soccer, Greek bowling, archery, obstacle courses, and more! This fun-filled day was a great way to celebrate the end of a great year! Of course, they were all excited to get some Pelican Snoballs to top it off. 

Ready for Third Grade

This has been an amazing year! Second Graders have worked hard across all subjects and had so much fun! This week we reminisced about all of the amazing studies we have done this year. Students shared some favorite memories and funny stories. Though the year has been a crazy one, these resilient and optimistic students focused on all the positive things from this year. They are now ready for Third Grade! They got excited when we shared some studies they have to look forward to and thinking about all the new things they will get to learn.
