Third Grade Goals

Hopes and Dreams

Third Graders were very excited to share their goals with us this week. Students considered things in their life they wanted to work on this school year, whether that be their organization, their handwriting, or even climbing the rock wall. We all decided what objectives we wanted to achieve by the end of the year and created our wall of Hopes and Dreams, complete with our own hot air balloons!

Math

Third Grade spent the week having fun with numbers! Students worked with number grids finding differences between two numbers, as well as playing our Number Game Difference today. As the week continued, students were introduced to (and are working to master) estimating!

Specials Spotlight: Art

We were ecstatic to start our specials this week. On Wednesdays, Third Graders attend Art with Ms. Kerry. This week, students worked on “under the sea” drawings with colored pencils! They were so excited to take home their artwork.
