Celebrating Valentine’s Day

Third Graders were elated to celebrate Valentine’s Day with their classmates! Students completed construction paper crafts, decorated bags to collect Valentines, and spread love everywhere. Third Graders could not wait to share the cards they brought for friends as well as collect the cards their friends brought in. Students also had the opportunity to distribute their compliment books and read all the wonderful things that were written on the compliments they received. 

Bake Sale & Book Fair

Third graders had so much fun at the bake sale on Valentines Day. Students got to enjoy delicious treats with their friends, enjoyed playing bingo with their parents, and just feeling all of the love at The Cooper School. Scholars also were ecstatic to attend our very first Scholastic Book Fair at TCS! We are so happy you all could join us.

Social Studies

This week in social studies we continued to learn more about Chinese culture. Scholars did research on their one word in Chinese and were able to write them using the Chinese alphabet. Third graders even got to make their very own Asian inspired fan. We can’t wait to share all the hard work we have done on this project in a few weeks!
