The Cooper School Daily

Third Grade News !!!

This week in music scholars got to watch the finished product of their very own movie. Students have been working on this movie for weeks and put so much hard work and dedication into it. Third Graders were ecstatic to see their acting skills and to watch it all come together. We loved the creative costumes our scholars chose to wear.

Pass It On

The Cooper School was so thrilled to be back together for our lovely event, Pass It On! Brave poets put on their fancy clothes, gathered their gumption, and shared their beautiful poems to a large and loving audience. Students were thrilled to hear their friends and siblings share their hard work. We are so proud of all of the hard work that The Cooper School poets put into their poetry writing!

Field Trip

On Tuesday scholars took a trip to the Caw Caw Interpretive Center. Scholars learned all about the history of indigo and cash crops. Third graders were ecstatic to know how this tied into the Gullah culture. Scholars got to indigo dye their very own t-shirts and we finished off this field trip with a nature walk!
