Handwriting

This week our scholars spent time perfecting their handwriting. Scholars worked hard on the letters H and J. Third graders also continued working on writing their names in cursive. Our scholars are becoming experts with cursive!!!

Change Makers Presentation

Third Graders were so excited to present their changemakers to parents this morning. Our scholars worked incredibly hard on this presentation! Students learned so much about the changemaker they chose and how their person changed the world. Third Graders have been inspired throughout this project to go out and make changes in our community. We hope you enjoyed our presentation!!!

Folly Beach

On Thursday our scholars went on our first field trip of the year. Our class went to Folly Beach as a part of our changemaker study. We came together and picked up trash on the beach to help our environment. While at the beach, Third Graders took pictures of sand to test the different types of sand that were on the beach. We had so much fun on our field trip and scholars were so excited to see how much a little change can make a big difference!
