Social Studies Research

Third Graders were so excited to do online research this week on our Community Change Makers webpage. Students used iPads to scroll through our online database of biographical web pages. Our class was elated to find all kinds of new information about their selected activist, right at their fingertips!

Specials Spotlight: Yoga

Third Graders were enamored by their visit to Yoga this week. They worked really hard and focused on their breathing.  Students were thrilled to return to the classroom and tell us all about the new poses and techniques they’ve learned with Ms. Stacy.

Math

Third Graders have really enjoyed using arrays to help them understand multiplication this week.  The students created 10 different arrays on centimeter paper. After they were finished, they used colored pencils to shade in their arrays.  We were very impressed with all the artistic talent in Third Grade!
