Exploring First Grade!

We were excited to meet our scholars this week and begin the journey of a new school year. This week, our First Graders practiced introducing themselves and getting to know their classmates. They were encouraged to learn and share interesting facts about each other throughout the week. We spent time exploring classroom materials, learning the routine of our classroom, and learning new games to play with our classmates. Our First Graders impressed us with their readiness to learn this week! We are excited for an amazing year in First Grade!

Getting to Know our Class Pet!

This week, First Graders met two new furry friends. Our scholars were very excited to meet our hamsters. We have spent the week learning how to care for a classroom pet, two finger touch, and brainstorming names. We have some very creative First Graders and are blown away by the plethora of name options! We are very excited for the big name reveal.
