Fun In Third Grade !!!!!

Third Graders were excited to do drama this week! Each year we have actors from Charleston Stage come to our school to work on presentation and dramatic skills. During these classes, students use their bodies, voices, and imaginations to create different scenes. Third Grade actors and actresses really enjoy learning and playing engaging theater games. By practicing these theatrical skills, students are able to gain confidence when performing in front of an audience.

This week in math scholars continued to learn more about multiplication. Third graders worked to write and solve equations with unknowns. Students used addition and subtraction equations to represent the unknown numbers. Mathematicians are loving all the different tools to solve multiplication problems!

On Wednesday, we had our first Cooper Clusters lunch of the year. These mixed grade groups connect students from each grade K through 8 to play fun games and make new friends! We enjoyed having conversation during lunch and playing blob tag and night at the museum together.
