Students have been working so hard on artwork for our upcoming Asia presentation. Third graders made 3-D vases with Chinese inspired artwork. We are so proud of all the hard work our artists have done. We can’t wait to share these with you all soon!  

Asia

This week in social studies scholars finished their speeches all about culture. Students have enjoyed sharing about their culture and learning about Chinese culture. Third graders have compared how our culture differs from other cultures and how they are alike. Scholars dug deep to express values, beliefs and what makes them special. We can’t wait to share these speeches with you next week!

Self-Assessment

Third Graders have spent a great deal of time creating, organizing and editing their documents for student led conferences! These young scholars have been doing the challenging work of self-reflecting and it has been a beautiful process to witness.They are thrilled to be doing the big work of leading a conference with you!

• February 29 – Asia Presentation (2:15pm) 
• March 4th & 5th – Student Self Assessment Conferences (11:30 dismissal)
