Multiplication Station
Mathematicians are continuing to build on the foundations of multiplication! From scaled picture graphs to equal grouping, students are making connections between these concrete representations of multiplication and the more abstract ones.
The Heart of the Matter
Third grade authors are working on rewrites and making edits to their real life stories. After learning about figurative language, they went back to add rich detail to entertain the reader. They recognized the most important part, the heart of the story and worked on developing it further. We are so excited to read the finished pieces.
Finding Our Zen
Our first SEL unit is self-regulation. Students shared their favorite breathing techniques, some prefer “rainbow breathing” others like “roller-coaster breathing”. Ask your child to share some of our techniques at home!
