Giving Thanks

First graders enjoyed a fun-filled week of growing our brains before Thanksgiving break. We hope you all enjoy reading their gratitude books and have a safe and relaxing holiday!

Gratitude Writing

Students spent the week publishing their Gratitude Books. They worked hard on brainstorming the many things they were grateful for in their life and then used their best craftsmanship to draft and publish their books.  We are so proud of them for taking their time, staying focused, and using their best handwriting. We are excited to share them with you.

Harvest Feast

Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy the Harvest Feast with our Cooper School community. We loved spending time with friends and family and enjoying yummy food. We love this special TCS tradition!

Phonics Games

First Graders had so much fun being silly in phonics this week! Our phonics superstars laughed while practicing their skills with a phonics headband game. Our students strengthened their skills by decoding, writing, and editing sentences with their reading partner. We definitely look forward to playing this game again!
