Revolutionary Ideas in Fourth Grade!

Project Presentation

4th graders had their American Revolution  project presentation today. They staged a debate against the Loyalists and the Patriots, trying to decide whether or not they should go to war with Great Britain. Posted around the room were their three essays, poster boards, and children’s books. Our little colonists have studied hard since well before Winter Break trying to perfect their knowledge for the presentation. We are so proud of all they’ve accomplished!

Math

The new math unit has 4th grade matching diagrams, word problems, and equations to compare multiplication problems. The class has picked up the first few lessons really quickly and are even moving on to creating their own word problems with multiplicative comparisons.

Choir

After such success at the Winter Concert, 4th graders have begun learning three new pieces to perform for their Spring Concert later on in the year. They’re enjoying the fun pop songs Mr. Alton has picked out for them and we’ve enjoyed watching them sing and dance along throughout the day!
