Our school year is off to a fantastic start. Here are a few of the happenings from our first week of school:

Back to School Night

The year began as friends old and new gathered to meet their new teachers! Joy filled the classroom as students explored and chose a “study buddy” succulent to take home. 

All About Me

Our first unit of study is “All About Me” which encourages students to explore their intrinsic and extrinsic characteristics to learn more about themselves and their peers. We kicked off the unit by making self portraits which will hang in our classroom throughout the year.

Meeting our Class Pet

Ms. Julisa visited our classroom to teach us all about our pet, a leopard gecko named Guppy! She brought Guppy out of his cozy cave and allowed each of our students to get an up close look at our special friend.
